Hello. My name is Andrew C Jelen. I am a post-college student, formerly of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I graduated in June of 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and anthropology. I will attend graduate school this fall at the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and pursue a career in archives management.
I have the unfortunate condition of being both a polymath and a Renaissance man. I am interested in most anything which is interesting. Mostly, however, I am interested in history, anthropology, politics, literature, genealogy, music, mythology, Christmas, movies, books, irony, turn-of-the-century society (this turn), the internet, organization, art, time, trivia, alternative pasts/futures, monarchy, and myself.
What a minute? What is it about this picture of that elderly woman? She seems so familiar.
If you'd like, you can also visit my genealogy site, which mostly features
family record pages for my own genealogy. There are also helpful links and related
web pages.

Bart (to Martin): "Well we're having the best Spring Break of our lives, and we
don't need you nerding it up."
Milhouse: "That job is taken!"
Hm. I should also mention that I'm a big cereal fiend.
I've alway wanted one of those smocks that says "Kiss the cook, he's. . . . But I am unfortunately, almost as many things as in which I am interested.
Here's a little ditty I made up to define myself:

You can also visit my links page. There's no real order (it's like my internet
messy drawer) but they are all very interesting, at least to me.

Hm, that's about it for now.
